Using notes on mobile version

MC

I use the mobile edition on my WebOS phone and I recently upgraded to premium. I created a task and wanted to add a note to it, however it seems that I can't on the mobile version. I created a test project, task and note on the web, hoping that I would be able to see it on the mobile version however my hopes were dashed. Is there another web version that I might be able to use instead? I have a Galaxy Tab however I don't want to have to rely on that; I might only my phone with me and need to get to a Todoist list. Would I have to resort to using your API to create a WebOS version? There are still a few of us that have not forsaken our Palm/HP phones

Hello Monica,

That's correct, the /m site indeed doesn't have some features, but for now, aside from using the API, you could also try to access the full web-app through your phone. If it can handle HTML5 correctly, if you use this URL: https://todoist.com/m/forceRegular you'll see the full version.

Best regards,
David

I can use that one, however it has some problems: it's only displaying the first four projects in my list.

Monica,

It may be caused by the browser itself, as we have had issues with less-used browsers in the past. We also, sadly, don't have any real way to test these either.

If there is a way to clear cache for that browser, I'd suggest trying that. Also, you are referring to the left hand project list correct?

Regards,
Brendon.

Ok, I figured out the issue with the project list on the left and I know how to work with that. I also realize that I can't make changes on the notes on either site version. I can change the indentation on both versions, which is good, however I have not been able to figure out how to move a task up or down. Is there a way to?

Hi Monica,

If you are using this URL https://todoist.com/m/forceRegular, I'm afraid there's no way to move task up or down right now. In the regular Todoist web app, re-arranging tasks requires hovering it so you can grab the handle and move it around. :-(

Clyde

And it seems to be the same on the regular mobile site as well. Well, it
seems that if I wish to continue to use your web app on my HP Pre and use
all of the features, I'll have to buckle down and learn how to write an
app for it similar to the one in this Galaxy (I love the physical keyboard
on my WebOS Pre 3 far too much to walk away from it so easily :-)). I
won't always have this device in my hand to work with, not nearly as much
as my phone.

As a future update, you might think about putting selection buttons like
this app has on your web site. I'm just sayin'....

Is this something you are looking at fixing? Re: notes on mobile version? I find that would be super handy and a deal sealer for a premium purchase (am currently on 30 days free).

Hello Kevin,

Unfortunately, we are no longer supporting the mobile site a todoist.com/m, but all our native mobile apps (for Android and iOS) offer full support for notes, comments, sharing, file uploading, voice note uploading, photo sharing, Dropbox and Google Drive.

David
