Recurring Dates, two days in a week

JK

Hey, there, I'd like to add a date to a task of mine. It should be due every Monday and Thursday. How can I do this? "Every Monday, every Thursday" does not work.

Best,
Hannes

Hello Hannes,

Please enter the due date: "every mon, thu" :-)

Best regards,
David

Thanks for your answer! The strange thing is that there is only one entry for the next sehen days. Same with daily tasks. I need to See the tasks on each Day!

Hi Hannes,

With the due date "every mon, thu", the only time the 2nd task shows up is when the task due on Monday has been completed. If you want to see 2 tasks in the 7 days view, you can use two separate tasks and have them recur every Monday and Thursday respectively.

Clyde

Hm. That makes todoist pretty useless to me to be honest. I have man recurring tasks and like to see the tasks for the whole week.

Hi Hannes,

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, that's how recurring tasks work right now and there's no option to change it. For example, if you have a recurring tasks that's set to "every day", it will only show you one task at a time. Feel free to create a suggestion to have an option be available based on your description in the Votebox https://todoist.com/Vote/.

Regards,

Clyde

I think my idea is related with the idea of a calendar modul. That vote goes back to 2011! And still you haven't included such a basic feature. You promised that premium users fiel like premium users. At the moment I feel like a foil because I at least expected basic features to be included into todoist. Even the Google calendar can Do it!
