problem with window focus

when I focus the todosit for windows using a keyboard shortcut (ctrl alt T or alt-tab), the program does not understand that it has focus. That is, keyboard shortcuts do not work. I have to click in the todoist window for keyboard shortcuts to work. (even though TD already has focus!)

I'll second this issue.

I just installed the Windows app on Windows 8.1 and when the app gets focus (it doesn't matter how it gets it) you can't use the 'q' shortcut until you use the mouse to click inside the window somewhere.

Given that this being able to do this is fairly essential to ease of use and it was reported 3 months ago, please get on to this one.

This is still an annoying issue.

Any chance of a fix anytime soon?

Hi folks,

I am experiencing this exact situation with Windows 7 SP1. Alt+Tab works for switching between programs and selecting Todoist, but keyboard shortcuts do not work until I click on Todoist's window. So this is a +1 for smashing this bug. :-)

Hi, just wanted to chime in that I'm experiencing this issue as well. I think the only reason it's so frustrating is every other part of Todoist is so good at minimizing keystrokes and clicks that it makes this feel that much more glaring.

Love the windows app apart from this, though!
