TD doesn't work on Outlook

Hi to TD support,
hi to TD users,

First of all. TD is an amazing tool. I work with TD on firefox. iphone and android tablet.

I also tried to work with TD on outlook. but it doesn't work. After downloading and installing TD for Outlook there is simply nothing to see in Outlook. No window, no frame, no icon.

Here are some information for you. may you can give me a hint. Many thanks in advance.

- System: Windows 7, 64bit
- Outlook: 2007, enterprise (12.0.6691.5000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6683.5000)
- I can see the programm in windows system area (installed programs)
- Outlook was closed during installation.

Hello Markus,

Please tell me, have you tried to reinstall the Outlook plugin? If not, please try to do so and see if it helps.

Also, go to Outlook's Options -> Add-ins, click on Go at the bottom next to COM Add-ins and if you see OutlookTodoist listed there, tick the checkbox and see if it activates it.

Thanks for your answer and questions to solve the problem.

Yes, i tried to reinstall the Outlook plugin. With deinstallation an installation through System/Programs.

I checked the "Com Add-ins" in Outlook. TD is not listed there. I checked it line by line. To make sure the "Program/Pugin" is realy installed I checked the Systems/Programs in Windows again. TD ist installed (OutlookTodoistADX, 65MB, Version

If I can do something more to solve the problem please let me know. Thanks for your support.

I have the same issue, there is nothing that shows up after i installed the plug in.

Hello Lynne,

Please confirm if you've tried the steps I've posted earlier and if you see OutlookTodoist in "Programs & Features".


Are you the administrator on your computer and have both .NET Framework and VSTO installed? If not, please try to get them (the second is Virtual Studio Tools) directly from Microsoft and then reinstall the plugin.

What you could also try is to find the folder the plugin installed to and make sure your system is allowing to write data to this folder (it's not read-only).

Same situation here. I've installed it twice and nothing shows up in Outlook.

To be clear, you have tried the suggestions from David's last post?

And you confirm, you have right clicked on the installer, and ran as Admin?

Short Status from my side.

I spend hours de-/re-/installing the .net and VSTO suff. At least the search on Microsoft Homepage for the right tools is ... grrrr.

At the end there are still some components missing - the system is telling me that during installation process of VSTO. And for that ist is not possible to finith it.

At the moment no time at all to finish it... :'-(
