Recurring dates suggestion

Date field should support recurring dates but with a little twist. It should be possible to specify how many times a task should repeat.

- mon X 5 weeks = next 5 mondays
- tom X 4 days = next 4 days
- mon X 3 months = next 3 months

That would be an improvement, as for now there is no way (I believe) to create a recurring task with a number of times / specify and end of some sort...

Little correction:
mon X 3 months = Mondays of next 3 months, corresponding to position of next Monday in current month (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th week, depending).

Think of it as first specifying the task's date, then multiplying (recurring it) by a given number and time span.

Hello Bernie,

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider adding more advanced recurrence syntax. Please vote for this request in our Votebox: https://todoist.com/Vote/show/6148/

For now, you can set tasks to "every first Monday" or "every Monday" or "every 2 weeks starting Monday" and once you reach the last time you want to complete it, hold SHIFT while checking it off and the task will disappear.

Best regards,
