When I add a new task both on iphone or web (Chrome) cannot press RETURN in task description to start a new paragraph because RETURN ends the text.
I tried to press shift -return, alt- return, alt-shift-return, withour postiive resolution.

Hi Marco,

Multi-line is not supported for tasks. If you need multiple lines, you can always use notes to add more details for your tasks.

tnx, but I expected another answer...
Can you add this feature in the next update of premium version ? IMHO 25,99 euro/yr is an expensive price and enought to get a high level effort to get a better product, isn't it?

Hello Marco,

We will most likely not add support for multiple lines in tasks, we've removed it due to compatibility issues across platforms.

As Clyde mentioned, please use task notes if you need a long description for a task - there are no character limitations in task notes, you can break lines, attach files, images and more.

Best regards,
David

Possible workaround if there is not a shortcut key yet...

I had word document with a numbered list of items to collect, with a line space between the listed items, like this....

1) Example 1

2) Example Line 2

When I created a new task, I 'copy-n-paste' the list into the new task and it appeared exactly as in the word document.

Shows up the same way on iPhone, iPad, web, and app.
Good luck
