iPad not syncing

I added several tasks using todoist web app last night before going to bed. When I opened todoist on my iPad this morning they were not there. I force synced.....still not there. What good is having it on all platforms if they are not going to mirror each other?

Hi,

How often does this happen? Can you reliably reproduce the issue? In any case, try logging out and back in again and see if that helps. I understand that this is not the ideal solution every time you get sync issues but we're hoping to release version 8.2 soon. Please update to that version as soon as possible and let me know if the issue persists.

Okay that worked, but it is a huge hassle to look up my password and copy
and paste it to sign back into Todoist. There was a App update this
morning. Was that it? If so, I did the update and that did not fix the
problem. Another iPad/iPhone issue......Gmail that I have added to Todoist
can not be accessed from iPad or iPhone.

Hi Sandy,

Yes, that was the update that I was referring to. I tried to create a task on my computer and it was almost instantly synced to my iPhone. You can try this for yourself and see if you get the same result. Let me know if you run into any issues with synching your tasks. Unfortunately, the only way to fix an issue is to be able replicate so we can have our developers address it. Also, can you please tell me what version of iOS are you running on your devices?

As for the gmail issue, clicking gmail links should not crash the app anymore and should open Safari.

Please note that the new version is 8.2.

the sync is clearly not working on my iPad.......i have to keep logging out
then getting my password again then copy and pasting my password into the
app to log back in......very embarrassing when your client is standing
there. i have attached screen shots of computer task count and ipad task
count....each taken within seconds of each other.

As far as opening gmail tasks....there isnt even a link to get to safari to
open the link....what app are you using? All i see is an envelope no live
link nothing to click.

Hello Sandy,

We're sorry for the inconvenience reg. email links crashing the app, I've passed it to our developers and we'll look into it now.

As for syncing - I could only reproduce it once, the first time I logged in after the update. From now on, every change I make on the web is synced instantly. Please confirm - is it still happening to you now or only happened once after the update?
