I cannot add files to my notes. The application seems to upload the file, but then I cannot see anything.
Please tell me - how and where are you adding it exactly? Through what browser, what extension, what plugin?
In general, this feature won't work in Chrome-based extensions, which includes our Windows app, it also won't work in the Mac app, in all cases it's due to limitations of these browsers' engines.
if it happens directly on the web at https://todoist.com please provide the details mentioned above and also check if it happens in a different browser and let me know which one you've used.
I have also watched a video that showed Todoist, Google Drive and Dropbox
integrated, as well as audio notes on Android. What must I do to get those

These features will be released very soon (this week) with updates to all our apps :-)
Thank you very much. I have been able to upload the file on the website

David, please, tell me. Does it plan to realise possability for adding files to task from Android version?
I mean to upload files from Android device to task description?
Yes, you'll be able to upload files, attach pictures and record voice notes via mobile very soon (this week) :-)
Thanks a lot for your answer, David.
It's very cool news :)
Have a nice day!
I just became a premium user, but am unable to add voice recordings and files to a task from my Android device. The options are there, it just doesn't save. Anything special I should be doing? Thanks, Carson
Please tell me:
- What version of our app are you using?
- What version of Android are you using?
Also, are you going to the "Notes" section of an already existing task (or adding a name for the task and then going to the "Notes" section), clicking on the paper clip at the bottom, recording the voice not and... what happens then? Do you see it upload and fail, or does the app crash or what else happens?
Thanks for the fast response:
App Version: 5.2.5
Android Version : 4.4.2
Yes, I am doing the steps described above both with both a new task and an existing task. It appears to create an audio file (AUD_20140820_084912.89KB) but does not save the audio file. The App does not crash.
Disregard - human error on my part. I wasn't naming the recording. It appears to be working now. Sorry for the trouble.
I have the same problem can you tell me how you get it working I not understand what you mean by "I wasn't naming the recording"
What Carson meant was most likely that he didn't add a name for the task. Please make sure that when you add a new task, there's a name for it, then go to the note section and add a voice note otherwise the nameless task may be discarded.
