How to go to Start Page

Hi everyone,

I have tried to set up my start page using the custom query at Todoist Settings.
It works fine without issue.

Then I click on a project or any other link within the system. Now I want to go back to the Start Page. What button should I click? I got lost here, hehe. ^_^

Hi Lasker,

The start page shows up when you first load Todoist in your browser. Unfortunately, once you've clicked on another project or link, there's no way to bring it up manually.

Please note that you can save a custom filter but that's a premium only feature.

Best Regards,

Thanks for your quick respond.
Well I found a not so elegant way .. just delete off the 'app?v=211#agenda/overdue,__today' from the URL and it will go back to the Start Page.

I would suggest to simply add a button to go to Start Page. It's pretty useful :)

+1, the start page is my task dashboard and I frequently want to go back to it. For the moment, I use a browser bookmark but it's not very convenient

Having the top-left TD icon get back to start page would make more sense than refreshing current view IMHO, since it's the behavior seen in most web apps (app logo takes back to home). If some users really need to "refresh the current view" (which I never used myself, but I admit I'm not everybody), then a "refresh view" link or a refresh icon next to the logo would make more sense IMHO.
Thanks for the great app btw

I keep clicking on the logo in the top left assuming it will take me to the start page. I guess I will have to add a browser bookmark for now.

Would be really useful if this could be changed. Anybody that wants to refresh the page can just hit ctrl+r or click the refresh button. I would really like a quick way to access my start page.

Hello Stephanie,

Please note that if you're using a custom query in your start page, you can always save a filter and just use that to launch the tasks that you're looking for. To do this, simply click on "Filter" in the side bar and then add a filter name and a query.

Best Regards,

Beside "Start page button" it would be useful to have an option to stick custom filters in the upper menu bar (under the Next 7 days).

+1. The logo as Refresh doesn't make much sense. I think the intuitive way would be:
Logo: go back to start (which has the custom query)
Refresh button: refresh

You have a great feature (custom query) that is "hidden" because a different design.
