Persistent / Ongoing Notifications

Tapping on or swiping the daily review notification dismisses it. This is counterproductive -- if I even look at my tasks, my reminder is gone. I am trying to figure out how to make the notification stick until all tasks are complete. Am I overlooking something? Or does premium have this feature? If I can get a persistent notification for my tasks, that doesn't disappear until the tasks are done, I will subscribe to premium. (Whether it is in the free version or requires premium, I will go premium.)

Hi Scott,

You can have the daily digest email show up, and of course will stay until you delete it. The digest will indeed be removed once you activate it from the notification area, this is the same on all.

Are persistent reminders part of your road-map in the future? An email does not replace the persistent reminders which are available in a smartphone. Anyway I thought the goal of GTD was to reduce the dependency on emails.

Hello Kirtan,

Although we're currently not working on it, we'll consider implementing it as an option in the future.

Hello all!
I emphatically suggest to implement the persistent reminders feature (Astrid Tasks notifications style). The triggered task reminder or the task, that's time is due/overdue should appear persistently in notification area (can't be simply cleared) until user takes active response — snooze/edit task (change due date)/complete.
