I'm having the same issue. I was hoping that the forum would have an answer

Hi Tracie,

Please note that closing the app by pressing the red "x" button does not closes it but minimizes it in the system tray.

You can actually change this behaviour once you have the app installed and running. To do so, right-click on the TD icon in the system tray, go to Configurations and here you can choose to make the app quit upon close and not hide to the tray (this will disable the global keyboard shortcuts, though)

This doesn't help us when we can't even open the app....

I'm running windows 7 professional - I can't open TD from my system tray, from the icons or from the Programs menu. When I try to do so it tells me I have to close the program -- but I can't I tried to reboot my system and I tried to uninstall and reinstall.... can you help, please?

It tells you to close the program? As in it crashes? Can you send a screenshot of your setup and you trying to open it.

We have no other reports of it not being able to open, blank or black screens, and things such as this yes.

I'd suggest un-installing it, heading to Windows Explorer and searching for Todosit & Doist, remove all, reboot, re-install with Admin Rights.

It may look like it has broken but press Ctrl-Alt-T and your window should unhide and show itself. My problem was that it was still logging in to my google account

Hi Richard,

So it's still not working properly for you? Can you give more details as to what the problems is exactly?

Thank you. The Control-Alt-T worked for me!
