Reoccuring tasks disappear


I've got a number of re-occuring daily tasks. If I'm late completing the task for a day, it appears as a task for yesterday. When I mark it as complete, the task does not show as due today. Is there a way of setting up re-occuring tasks in such a way that if I mark a task due yesterday as complete, the same task for today is still shown?

Unfortunately, there's no way to change this behaviour for now.

Does that mean that there are plans to change the functionality in the future? The sort of scenario I'm thinking about is: You have a daily recurring task of "Process today's invoices". You then miss a day, so the task appears under yesterday. You process yesterdays invoices and tick the task as complete. You still have the current day's invoices to complete, but there is no task under today.

A fairly minor issue I'l admit, but it would be useful if this regeneration of the task could be an option.

Hello Peter,

We're currently not planning to change this yet, though we may in the future.

In the example you've mentioned, a "workaround" would be to simply take care of today's invoices as well and in the process you'd know you won't miss them too ;-)
