Can't print from MacOS version

I'm trying to 'print current view' from the MacOS version of Todoist. It's launches Chrome and then says 'Session has expired, please re-login'.

I can print from the Chrome version of Todoist but I prefer to use the desktop version day to day if possible.

All responses

I experienced this message as well, but accepted to log in again, and it went forward into my account. I then re-tried the print current page, and it worked without issue.

If you do that as well, does it get resolved?

Yes, If I'm logged in on Chrome it works but if I have to log in on Chrome I may as well just use that and abandon the MacOS version...

Hello Matt,

We'll look into this in the future, but this will require a creation of a completely new native app from scratch as our current one is a frame that connects to the todoist.com site so it technically is a browser window - such actions as printing will therefore be handled by your default browser.

There are still benefits to using the Mac app, though, primarily - the global shortcuts that allow you to quickly show/hide your task list or open the Quick Add option right away :-)

Best regards,

David does this mean that I can only print from the web app and not the Ipad?

Thank you.

It's possible it could work on the iPad from the browser, but I do not believe iOS handles this well. So at the moment, the web/desktop is the best location to do this.

If the app is run as a browser / proxy for the website, this should be spelt out clearly in the app store. I was wondering why I spent more time on the net than the app.

Unlikely to re-subscribe if this is not solves swiftly. The app needs to run natively if required surely....
