Hi Rama,

We have a feature that allows you to forward emails directly to your project. Please review this link http://todoist.com/Help/viewEmailTasks?from_premium=1 and let me know if it helps.

You can use the any email client for this (including the native iOS iPad and iPhone mail clients).

As for the "one click task creation" part of your question, I'm not sure if this would qualify since it would take you several click to get that email forwarded. Can you elaborate on what you had in mind?

What I meant by "one click" is the functionality that is shown in the Outlook plugin video, where it looks like you can immediately add an email as a task while from within outlook, and I was wondering if you could do the same thing from within the iOS native email app on the ipad and iphone

In that case, mobile email clients are not supported at this time. Though it's possible in the future.

For me this is also really important!! When will the one click function be added for the iphone mail client?

If not...
I saw the possibility to mail tasks in the projects. But is it possible to mail the tasks in the inbox? Not especially in projects? Sometimes a task has noting to do with excisted projects.

Thanx in advance,

Kind regards,

Hello Mijke,

We can't give out an ETA as to when the feature will be added.

As for your question, yes, you can send tasks directly to your inbox. Please refer to this link for more info: http://todoist.com/Help/viewEmailTasks?from_premium=1.

Me too. I feel it is vital to be able to create a todoist task from email by pressing the action button or similar.
