You haven't registered any device with push notifications support

I today changed my free account into premium. Now I wanted to use the Push notification on my cellphone but unfortunately in the settings it is keep telling me:

"You haven't registered any device with push notifications support"

I currently have registered two Android devices, one Nexus 10 and a Find5 smartphone. Both have data plans and are permanently online. Both have latest todoist App installed and logged in. Syncing is working but still I cannot use Push notifications :(

Why is that?

Hi Marco,

We're sorry for the inconvenience. We have reported this to our developers and they have changed something in the backend to fix it. Try testing this again 30 minutes from now and let me know if the issue still persist.

I am experiencing the same issue with my iOS devices.

We are still looking into this, as it appears the changes did not fix it. We hope to have a solution soon.

Really? I paid for Premium but still no reminders? I'm no programmer but every frigging app on my iPhone will send me reminders and most of them were free.
Do we have an eta for a fix?

We do not have an ETA, but it shouldn't be that long. This issue occurred today, and have only started looking into it. And the issue appears to only be with PUSH, not Email or SMS.

So the SMS test button on the web version does send a text message to my iPhone. But on the Setting page Reminders tab it says I haven't registered any devices and below where it says manage your devices it lists my phone with an edit button but the only edit is to change the name.

I am logged I on the phone and it shows Premium.

I've tried loading test todos on all devices with reminders more then 30 min out and nothing happens.

I am a very busy guy and I HAVE to have reminders.

If you need any additional info from me to help please let me know.

What if I delete the app on my iPhone and reinstall?  Will that fix it?

Btw.. I have it on my iPad too, and it syncs but does not show as a device on the web version.

Good luck!

Yes, we are now aware it's affecting most notifications. We have enough data for the moment, hopefully it won't take much longer to resolve.

For me it is working now, thanks. I didn't changed anything, just retried today.

One Question though, I have todoist installed on multiple Android devices, is there any way to enable the push notifications only on one of those? In case of a notification now my whole devices play a concert for me :p

Hello Marco,

You could try to simply disallow Todoist to send notifications on some of your devices :-)

Best regards,
