Postpone overdue task on iphone

When I postpone a task which is overdue, to a new date, the new date starts at the day and month as initially set, but one year ahead.

Does not apply when postponing via shortcut to today, tomorrow, next week, etc.

Hello Patrick,

That could be the correct behavior depending on what due date the task has. In general, the "Postpone" option will work as if you would "skip" this occurrence. So a task due "every 12 Mar" will get skipped to the next 12 March which would be next year.

That said, if you don't want to skip the missed occurrence, but only reschedule it, please use one of the other schedule options, except postpone - these will only temporarily "set" the task to the certain date without breaking or utilizing its original recurrence pattern.

Best regards,
