Hi Barb,

You can view all tasks with "view all" in the search area. Though this will not include completed tasks. If you'd like to print completed tasks, you can view all completed through the Karma score at the top, then Print Current Page (top right gear icon)..

Brendon.

Using the suggested "va" filter to list all open projects. When printing however it goes on for 3 pages as the font is very large.

My workaround for a single page list is to
-zoom out (Chrome browser) so all projects show
-use Windows 7 Snipping Tool to grab the list

Another alternative -- which works better for me, is to click on the "Task Actions" icon (faint grey editing icon) on the upper right corner of the project list.

Then "Export as Template". This will save your list in a plaintext .txt file -- perfect for printing out in a normal size font, or, for that matter, using for any other purpose: You'll have a plain list of your items in that project.

You can also do that from "Inbox" which I find handy.

Unfortunately, you cannot yet "Export from Template" in the filter views, which I do hope will eventually be implemented, as its very useful in any view to be able to export a plaintext list.

Hi,

The new version 353 seems to have increased the font size even larger when printing. Is there a way to reduce the size of this and not a work around?

Many thanks,

Hi David,

I also noticed that the printed version does not have the due date along the right hand side.

Hi Galina,

When printing the due date now appears but the size of the font is still big. Do you when this bug will be resolved and will there be an option to set the font size?

Roa

Hello Roa,

We can no longer reproduce this issue. Please send us a screenshot of the print preview showing the large font and we'll look into it.

David

Hi Allison,

Can you please make sure that your browser is not zoomed in more that 100%? Please try pressing CTRL+0 and check if that makes a difference.

Clyde

Hi David,

Are you saying that the font will always be that big when we print it?

Hi Roa,

Please refer to the attached example file below. That should be the normal size of the fonts when it's being printed. Is the font that you're getting from your file bigger than that?

Hi Cylde,

The font / tick box is bigger (only slightly) but does have a knock on effect. If it could be printed smaller that would be great.

Hi Roa,

Sadly, there's no options that would change this yet but we may look into adding such an option.

Hi Clyde,

I would have to say that you 'may' look into it isn't very promising. Do you agree that the font that I am printing is large than your out put? and what can I do about that?

Many Thanks,
Roa

Hi Roa,

I used "may" as we have no definite plans of adding this feature yet and I didn't want to give out false hopes. I'll certainly share this with out team for consideration. If we have any news about this, we'll certainly share.

When I overlaid your printout (shown in black) and my example printout (shown in red), it appears that your printout is indeed have a larger font and checkbox. Which browser are you currently using?

Hi Roa,

Did you use the "Print current page" option in the gear in the upper right corner? Also, did you select the option to Save the PDF when you tried to get an example file for me?

If you go to the Chrome menu → Settings → Show Advance Settings → and under the "Web Content" section, what's the font size option shown there? Mine is currently set to medium.

Hi Clyde,

Yes I used "Print Current Page" and did the Save to Pdf for the example I sent you.

My setting is also set to medium. I played with the settings but all it did was make the font in Chrome smaller, the print was still the same size.

Hi Roa,

Can you please check one more thing? Please one a new Incognito Window (CMD+Shift+N or CNTRL+Shift+N for Windows) and check if you're getting the same printout still in there. Incognito Mode disabled most extensions. This should tell us if there's an extension that might be affecting the printout.

Hi Clyde,

I tried the incognito window but it gives the same results. As extensions I only have Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and a password manager.

Roa,

I have tested it on Chrome for Windows and in my case, the sizes are exactly the same as in your case. We'll look into changing them in the future :-)

David
