Tags do not work with the dot.
Result search: @ site & com
No problems matching your query
Just to clarify, you are trying to use "@ site & com" as a search query to look for tasks tagged with the label "@site.com", right?
Please note that you can just directly search tags by starting you query with an "@" symbol and it should autocomplete as you type. I tried this on my end and it worked fine.
Can you please give me more details as to what exactly you're trying to do so I can help you out even further?
Thank you for the screenshots, it helps a lot. :-)
Can you please let me know what browser you are using? Also, are you using a Mac or a PC?
Based on my testing (Chrome) it should just work fine. I need more details to narrow down what's causing this issue.
Please let me know.
Another thing, noticed that the search query is missing the dot in it. Just to clarify, that's what gets entered when you click the "@site.com" label, right?
Can you also try adding the dot between site and com and see if that works? I know it's not a solution but just wanted to see if using the correct search terms works fine.
"Can you also try adding the dot between site and com and see if that works?"
Yes, it works http://awesomescreenshot.com/0a72jot5e3
But clicking the label itself doesn't work, correct? Please let me know so I can forward this to a developer if needed.
Yes, when I click it does not work.
Just to confirm, you are clicking the label (site.com) underneath the task name, and it does not go to the list of tasks with that label correct? As it would not actually follow the HTTP address to the website.
Nonetheless, we are having trouble reproducing this issue on both Windows & OSX. Please try logging out of your account, clearing the cache for Firefox and sign back in. Does it still not work?
I have similar problem as I'm used to tag my tasks with requester username(s), so I put something like @yanick.rochon, but since few days I'm still able to use the old ones created in my labels list, but cannot create new one.
We recently stopped supporting dots in labels names. They will be replaced with underscores. It should only affect new labels or when you update/edit the existing labels. Sorry about that!
