Late Task Date Behavior

If I have a task that becomes past due and select the date picker, the date selected becomes the due date in 2015. This can not be desired behavior and requires that I either scroll through a year of dates or exit the date picker and use the text dates first, then select a date via the date picker.

Hello Darren,

Todoist never suggests setting due dates for the past so it will indeed correctly open the calendar for the net available instance of a certain date which may be next year if it's a single occurring task.

However, to reproduce this, please let me know what exact due date and time are you using with the task.

Hey, David

You can easily reproduce this be creating a task and assigning it today's date. Tomorrow, when you attempt to change the date, it will show today's date in 2015. I'd suggest that you have the calendar spinner go to the date that the task was originally set for no matter how far back then put validation on the adjusted date selected to confirm it does not occur in the past. I think that is a better solution than having to scroll through 364 days to update a due date to today from yesterday.
