No sync between app and web



This is a very weird problem I am facing on Todoist. I have made a couple of tasks on my phone, in the app. Now these tasks show up correctly on the phone, but when I open up the web version, these tasks are no longer there. Also, any changes I made to any of the tasks today morning are not being reflected in the web version!

It's the first time I'm facing such a problem. I tried refreshing, logging out and logging in again, but it didn't help.

Can you please explain what the problem is, and how I should get it resolved?

Hi Ankur,

Please tell me,

- Which mobile app are you using (Android or iOS)
- Which version of the app are you running, is it the latest?
- Which version of the OS are you running?

Are you sure that both are signed into the same account (web and mobile)

Hi Brendon,

- I'm running the Android app
- It's the latest version; I updated it just yesterday
- I'm running Android Gingerbread (2.3.6)

Yes, I'm signed in using the same account. After updating the app yesterday, it worked fine for a while; but the web version has again conked off for some reason. The app shows everything correctly, but the web version and the Todoist extension is not synced correctly with the app.

I love your app, and have got really used to it. Therefore this is a big concern for me. Hope you can do something about it soon! :-)

We've identified a sync issue in the Android app now and will publish an update soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks David. Just to make it clear, everything is working fine on the app..the web version is giving a problem.
Hope things get sorted soon! Waiting for the update! :)
