outlook not syncing / java error / unable to login to your outlook app

S

Keeps happening

it has not been addressed.

I reinstalled etc. and receive the same error. Every 30 seconds this error message keeps popping up, I click it, it goes away, and then comes back. I can't even login to the app from within Outlook. Just a blank todoist section.

Here is an image file showing the error

This is incredibly frustrating, to say the least.

Hi Steve,

- What version of Windows are you running?
- Version of Outlook?
- Are you behind any proxies, corporate networks etc?

I have passed this to the developers now.

Regards,
Brendon.

Any word? It's been a few weeks since this was posted.

Steve,

We are still working on the Blank window issue, it's taking longer then we had hoped. Sorry for the trouble.

Regards,
Brendon.

Going on a month and a half; it still IS NOT working

I have had issues with this plugin for more than 1/2 the time since paying for the premium service. I would like an extension of my service term once this is resolved (for the approximate amount of time that I have been unable to use this, e.g. didn't work for 6 months, then extend my premium by 6 months). This was one of the reason I wanted to support your app; it was foundational to my decision to pay for the premium product.

Steve,

Do you have any Antivirus or similar installed? Please try adding Todoist to the whitelist, or accepting list, and see if it resolves it. You should be able to test by disabling it as well.

Regards,
Brendon.

there is an antivirus, but it has been installed long before this app and the app/plugin worked up until several months ago. The antivirus cannot be uninstalled, it cannot be turned off; it's a work laptop.

I cannot add anything to a whitelist or accepting list (it is locked).

Hello Steve,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience. We're looking into this issue and having difficulties identifying it as we've never managed to trigger it under any circumstance yet :-(

We have now extended your Premium time by 2 months. We'll see if we can extend it more than that, though neither the Outlook plugin nor the option to add tasks from emails are Premium features and your report if from February.

Also, just to clarify - you are using the latest version of our plugin from https://todoist.com/outlook and reinstalling it didn't help, is that correct?

Best regards,
David

I have reinstalled from that location several times over the last few months.

As to issues, this thread did start a few months ago, but I had posted other inquiries in other threads previously regarding this issue or similar.

Since later last year I have had issues:
http://todoist.com/Support/core/search/?s=steve.funk

My reasoning for registering for premium was to support the product.

Steve,

We're very sorry for that, we're looking into this and some other issues with this plugin, but as long as we can't trigger it even once, makes it extremely difficult to identify the source of it :-(

Best regards,
David
