iCalender sync with Todoist

I need my tasks to synch with my icalender on my ipad mini but I can't see a way of doing this.

My desktop is a Windows PC which does not have icalender. My desktop PC has Outlook but Todoist in Outlook isn't very good as the tasks sit side by side instead of going into the calendar and anyway, I don't use the Outlook calendar, I only use the ipad icalender.

Please can you tell me how to get my Todoist tasks onto my ipad iCalender?

Hi Sue,

First, head to Todoist.com, top right corner, Settings. You will have to do this on your mobile iOS device. On that page, copy the URL for the iCal Feed.

Then follow these instructions. http://www.ehow.com/how_8608129_add-ics-calendar-iphone.html

Hi Brendon,

Thanks for the quick reply but the problem isn't solved yet. I hope you can help further.

I went to todoist.com from my mobile device as you said but there is no settings in the top right hand corner, only a plus sign to add a new task. There is no 'Settings' section on the todoist.com site from a mobile device.

There is a 'Settings' section in the ipad Todoist app, but this it's only basic settings and there is no section to enter a URL.

The todoist desktop app does have this 'Settings' section where you can enter a URL. But this isn't possible to access from my ipad.

I also tried to follow the instructions on the weblink you sent, but I'm unable to follow step 5 as I don't know what address or file path of the ICS calendar to add in the server field. How do I know what to put there?

This is what Step 5 says:
Enter the full address or file path of the ICS calendar you want to add in the "Server" field. Make sure to include the ".ics" extension at the end of the address or path. Tap the "Next" button.

Hope you can help.

Please sign out of the mobile website, at the very bottom there should be an option to load the regular website. Then log in, follow my steps above.

Once you do this, the settings page will show you the URL for the iCal ICS calender, this is what you'd enter into the Step 5 area.

Hi Brendon,

Great. That works and is sorted now.
