Todoist Outlook not compatible with Microsoft EMET

Out organization just deployed MS EMET 4.0 and it will not allow outlook to run with the TodoistADX plugin loaded in outlook. EMET sees it as a security risk. Please look into this.

Hi,

Which version of Windows and Office are you running? As it turns out, our software should work with EMET without issue.

Regards,
Brendon.

I am experiencing the same issue. Our IT department had to uninstall the Todoist plugin. [Windows 7, Outlook 2010, EMET 4.1 Update 1]

Hi,

We are looking into this, though Outlook 2003 is not supported anymore. 2007 and older is needed for support.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi,

Is there a timeline that can be shared of when this issue might be resolved? Integration with Outlook for my work tasks was one of the reasons that I came back to Todoist from GQueues. Not having it is slowing down my workflow enough to make me consider using Outlook tasks :( I really need the ability to quickly flag an email to turn it into a task that references the original email.

Thanks,

Quent

Over 1 year after this bug is reported, still not fixed?

I'm getting the error with EMET 5.1.

Hi Samuel,

We are close to the release of the updates for Outlook and Windows app.

For now, you can try to disable the "SimExecFlow mitigation" for Outlook if that's an option for you. Here's how - http://grok.lsu.edu/article.aspx?articleid=17447.
