New version update error


For the past couple mornings when I open ToDoist it opens as usual but I get a message pop-up that says there is a new version and would I like to download and install it. I say yes. I apparently downloads (although I cannot find the download) but when it goes to install I get an error stating that what I'm doing is unauthorized. The error message barely stays up long enough for me to read let alone copy it. I cannot reproduce the problem because the message only comes up once a day - when I first open up Todoist.

Hello Patrick,

Please try to uninstall our app through Programs & Features, then go to https://todoist.com/windows download the latest version, install it and let us know if the issue persists.
