shortcut to quickly add a task from another application

Hello, I just installed Todoist 4.1.5 on my Imac. The short cut 'q' or 'ctrl+q' doesn't work.
Could you help me ? I also saw 'shift+cmd+a' but it doesn't work ether.
I use an AZERTY keyboard : could it be the reason why I can't use the 'quick add task' shortcut ?

Thanks for helping

Hi Elodie,

Are you updated to the latest version of our app? You can change the shortcut that adds a task if you click on the TD icon in the top right, then Mac App Preferences. Though, it may be because your keyboard layout is not supported.

Thanks for your answer. I have the lastest version. I found the way to change the shortcut like you suggested : on the TD main menu bar, on Preferences. Now it works fine.

Regards, Elo

Hi Darren,

You can press Ctrl+Alt+A to quickly add task to Todoist. You can change this keyboard shortcut by going to the notifications area in the lower right corner of the screen → right clicking and select 'Configuration' → and changing shortcut from there. :-)
