Bug with repetitive tasks

For example, I create a task "Report", which should be repeated daily.
If the current day I do not do it, then the next day it becomes marked yesterday. But today a new task "Report" does not arise. If I do yesterday's task, a new task "Report" today does not arise.
It turns out that Todoist misinformed me about declaring only one problem "Report" instead of two - yesterday and today. This is not correct. Recurring tasks to be copied every time scheduled!

That's the correct behavior. If you miss a task, then please check it off after fully completing it. If it's a task that does require multiple completions, please create both reports and then complete the task.

This is by design to prevent you from having to check off tasks multiple times if you've missed them even though you haven't completed them or it's not possible to complete them selectively (such as - make a phonecall, for example).

Best regards,
