Filtering out completed items in filters/smart searches

BT

Is there any way to filter out tasks that are completed from my filters? I completed a task a few days ago and it is still showing up in the filter. Is there something I can add to the search string or will it go away eventually?

Hi Ben,

Is this task a sub-task? As that is then only reason why a completed task should be still showing anywhere.

Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

Yep, just checked and they are sub tasks. It would be nice to be able to exclude them from the filters somehow without having to delete/move out of a project. Or, better still, have them not appearing in filters at all by default.

I don't user sub-tasks and mine is showing completed in filter results.
I am just using a keyword to search task titles.

It works but completed show up too. This is on the web and in Outlook.

Please help

Frank,

So you search for something, and tasks that show as crossed out appear on the list? You are sure they are no sub-tasks? If you log out, clear the cache for your browser, does it still occur?

Brendon.

Hmm, I can't repeat the issue today.
It seems to work now with a "Search completed tasks" link at the bottom.

Thank you for the prompt reply and a great product/service :-)
