Task edit boxes not letting me edit or delete
This year I have often not been able to edit or delete task boxes within the notes area of each task. Sometimes it will let me, and a lot of times, it is not showing the rubbish bin or little pencil so i am unable to edit my notes.
I can still add new notes in boxes at the bottom, but it will not let me re-edit older tasks.
Can you help, as regular monthly stored information cannot be added to. etc
So you are using our Windows Desktop app? You are referring to notes that have been added, or are you talking about tasks?
You have updated to the latest version of our app? Try clearing the cache for the app (%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Todoist\Windows\Cache)

I am working with Todoist on a desktop computer.
It is when I am in the notes that I am unable to edit or delete - there are no symbols coming up on the Left Hand Side to allow me to do this.
I do not know what cache is.

I can't reproduce this issue. These icons are actually supposed to be on the right side and I couldn't find any task on my list in which any of the notes can't be edited or deleted.
That said, please tell me:
- Does it all happen in private projects or shared projects (note - in shared projects, you can only delete the notes you wrote)?
- Does right-clicking on the TD icon that our app puts to the notification area (system tray at the bottom-right corner, next to the system clock) and then choosing "logout" and logging back in solve this issue?
Also, please try to delete the app's cache as Brendon instructed, that is - access your C: drive (or whatever letter your system drive has), go to this location:
and delete the content of this folder. Note - %userprofile% will be replaced by your username.
