SharePoint 2013

Good Morning,

Is there a way to sync Todoist with SharePoint 2013 Online? SharePoint 2013 can interface with Project 2013 and most forms of Microsoft products so was curious if it did or not. If not, is that something that is being considered? SharePoint is nice, but it's not in as many places as Todoist is, but the task management is very similar. I appreciate it.

Sam

Hi Sam,

There are no plans to work with Share Point at this time. I am not sure if it will happen, but feel free to add it to our votebox. http://todoist.com/Vote/

Regards,
Brendon.

Thanks Brendon, I appreciate the response. I doubt there is a high demand for it, but was curious either way. If it is something that I wanted to pursue, I'd most likely hire someone to work with the APIs and go that route. Thanks again.

Sam

The ability to sync or view Todoist tasks within SharePoint would be exceptional, especially on the business side. We need to make tasks visible to management or clients who use SharePoint for their collaboration needs.

Viewing tasks might be possible, at least for members of your team with todoist accounts. It may be possible to do this with a webpart content box like you can for Twitter. One of many tutorials online:

Also, the newer versions of Sharepoint can bring in iCal feeds onto a calendar. Once you have that setup, you can put a calendar in a list view. It wouldn't be pretty, but it might work.

Haven't tested any of this, but I'm going to try it with my next project. I recently added a 4th person to my workgroup and we've surpassed our threshold of intuition-based task coordination. We utilize Sharepoint heavily, so my first thought was to make a task list there, but SP isn't accessible from phones and that's a dealbreaker.
