Can I save a project as a template

I have some complex projects. What I want to do is be able to save a Project as a template with all its tasks and then import this later as a new project.

This would save a lot of time re-entering all the tasks each time I start a new project.

Hello Adryan,

Yes, you can do that. Enter the project you want to export, click on the tools icon at the top (the one that says "Task Actions" when you hover over it) and then pick "Export as a template" from the drop-down menu.

You'll get a TXT file with all tasks and their properties from this project. You can then use the "Import from template" option in another (or the same) project to import this task set.

Best regards,

Same. It would be great to have templates for complicated projects with a specified set of tasks.

Great to see it already exists!

Would rather not have to do an export and import. Particularly on the Premium Versions

I agree with Ashleyanne, I would love to see a section of templates that I can 'create new projects' from. I use my templates in client meetings when they are trying to discover what they would like their project to have in it and just walking through the options I can not only help them narrow their focus but also easily price and timeline out how long their projects will take based upon their choices.
