Updated Todosit and It's Gone

I received a message to update todoist for outlook. I updated it, everything seemed to be successful, but I don't see todist in Outlook anymore. What do I need to do? I use Outlook 2010.

Thanks

Hi Kevin,

Have you checked the Addins area for Outlook? File, Options, Add-ins. OutlookTodoist should be there, and it may just be disabled./

it's listed as inactive. Is there a way to make it active? I didn't see anything.

Kevin,

Please try deleting the cache (%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Todoist\Outlook\Cache) and logging back into it. Does it still occur? Still not able to enable?

I don't have a Cache folder or file in that locations. All I have is an AddinModule.log in the Todoist folder and inside the Outlook folder a plugin.log.

Kevin,

That folder should be there with information. Please make sure you are running this version, nonetheless, it may help to reinstall it anyway. https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/49603436f7edf6fa3baa609dbdda1c1d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe

I have reinstalled a few times with the latest version. Do I need to do a full uninstall? If so, please give me instructions.

Kevin,

Which version of Windows are you running? As that folder would be there with items inside if the latest version was installed. The latest version is not available on the main website yet.

Though, you can close Outlook, Uninstall the plugin from Add/Remove Programs (Control Panel), check

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Todoist\Outlook\Cache

That location again. Reboot, and re-install with the file above.

Brendon.

Windows 7
What do you mean by the latest version isn't on the website? This whole thing started when I received a message from todoist to update.

Kevin,

We made a few changes in a short time and have not fully released it yet, though there is a new version on the website.

Can you try re-installing it either way, as it could have been an issue with the update process.

Regards,
Brendon.
