Toolbar and dock widgets

F

Hi!
Is that possible to hide the toolbar widget on the top? Can't seem to find an option for this..
Also is it possible to display the number of tasks for today in a red pop-up balloon in the dock app icon(like the standard mail for example)?

Thank you!

Hi,

Please clarify, which toolbar are you referring to, the TD icon beside the clock? That can not be removed, and is where the task number is displayed. The dock icon does not display any options at this time, we will consider changing this in future updates.

Brendon.

I hid the icon in the dock at some point, but now I can't find the setting to show it again.

Mac App Preferences only takes me to the app, where settings takes me to general settings on the website.

Berit,

At the very top of your taskbar, the TD icon (beside the clock), click it, Mac App preferences. This should bring up a small window with two options to change keyboard shortcuts, and one option to show in dock.

If that is not the case, please make sure are running the latest version of our app.

Regards,
Peter.

Found it after a couple of attempts, but this is a bit off on the usability
as I see it:
- When pressing the Todoist icon, you get the menu.
- When selecting "Mac App Preferences" you get the Todoist window.
- This window has a settings icon, so naturally I click this one - and that
is where I got lost as described.

I now find that I have to press "Mac App Preferences" once to show the
Todoist window, and then once again to get the preferences. Nothing tells
me that I have to go twice in the interface...

Berit,

That is not the case. When you hit "Mac App Preference" it does bring up the Main Todoist panel, but there should also be the small settings window as well. Maybe it pops up offscreen somewhere?

Brendon.

Looks like it ends up behind the Todoist window.

Is the small settings panel supposed to pop up at the same time as the
Todoist window? Because that is the only thing covering it.

Berit,

Yes it's suppose to. Tell me, if you move the small window somewhere else, close it. Then do it again, does it still appear behind Todoist?

Brendon.
