Unable to add customer filter in Outlook Addin until added one on the Web


One to note.

I was unable to add a custom filter in the Outlook addin (I would add the title and query and click Add Filter which would take me to the task view. When I went back to the custom filter page it would be sitting unsaved. Repeated clicking on Add Filter wouldn't help).

I then went and added one with no problems using the Web interface. After that the Outlook addin now has no problems with adding custom filters.

Outlook 2010, Chrome, Win 7.

Hello Jamie,

Please try to uninstall the plugin and then download and install the latest version released today from https://todoist.com/outlook

I can't reproduce this issue in this version. If you can, please tell me - when you type in the filter's name and query, are you then clicking on the bid red button that says "Add filter" or the text link below?

Also, what's the exact query you're trying to save?

The issue now is that it does work for me, since I added a filter using the web interface.

Yes I was clicking the big red button saying 'Add Filter'.

I tried a few basic queries such as:

I did do a video capture of what was happening but the file is big and I have no time to convert it today. If you are interested I can reduce the file size over the weekend and send it to you.

I'll grab the new version today.
