Duplicate Items in shared projects

My Todoist Projects were working great, until I started sharing them. Now Duplicates of the same tasks within a given project show up. I think this may happen when 2 people have the same project open at the same time but I'm not sure. The most recent occurrence that happened is as follows:

I have a Project labeled BHS Purchase Orders. In this project I have a list of Open Purchase Orders and the items on order within each PO. I Also have notes with attachments on each PO. I shared this Project with our packing and shipping department so at any given time they could see what was on order, if it was en route, tracking info and such like. This also helps me stay organized and saves me time as I don't have to compile custom reports all the time. Well, it appears like when the shipping department opens the Project and views the task (that I may or may not have open at the same time) Todoist creates a duplicate of the task and sub tasks and marks one of the duplicates as completed. That's not to much of a big deal, but it clutters up the project and I have to go back though and delete the duplicates to save confusion. Also, my notes and attachments end up on the "completed" duplicate. Kind of frustrating.

Other than this problem, Todist is working great and saving me time.

Hello Ben,

Thank you for your report and sorry for the inconvenience. Are you certain that the opening of the project is what triggers this issue? We couldn't reproduce it so far and it's the first report that something like this can happen.

That said, please tell me:
- Is the other department within the same local network with a common outgoing IP?
- Are both using the same browser?

Best regards,

Yes, we are in the same local network and common IP. Both are using the Chrome extension of Todoist

Please try logging out of your accounts, clear the cache for Chrome (and offline data) and try to see if it still occurs.
