Collaborator Features

I am trying to learn more about the Collaborator Features, I have added two collaborators but when I am in the task notes and i click the notify icon it does not give me any people to add. I would really like to learn more about the feature but the video is very basic and does not elaborate on how the different collaborators need to access to dist. currently three of us log into the todoist app over windows, android, and apple platform. Do we need separate logins, I also how does one identify the tasks within a project that have been assigned to a collaborator is there something particular that i need to input into the search window?

Hi Griffects,

Yes, you all need your own account. Then when you right click a project (web/desktop) and choose Share, all the tasks created under it will have an "assign" option. That is where you'd be able to share tasks with people.

Then that notification area will fill up when people make comments, or complete tasks and so forth.

Is there a way to search or filter to show all the tasks that have been assigned to a specific person?

Also, is there a way to save a search and lock it in the navigation?

Hello Jon,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to search for tasks assigned to a specific person (aside from you).

It is possible to save searches. To do so, please go to the Filters tab on the left, add a new filter and use the search query you want to save.

Best regards,
