sync across multiple platforms/device

Hi Paul,

Please confirm that you are signed into the same account on all devices, if you signed in with Google on the Android device, and not the others, it may have created a new account.

If it is the same account, is it everything that is not syncing or just notes, or just certain tasks, such as recurring? Are you online when trying to sync changes?

Do i need a gmail email to set up an account here in order to have sync across platforms?

Hello Paul,

No, you don't All you need to do is to simply log into your Todoist account using the same email/password combination on every platform and all your data will be synced across all platforms :)

I primarily use Todoist via the windows app during the day. However, it is not syncing to my android or to the online platform. I read that this was an issue in January. Has it still not been resolved?

Yes, these issues are resolved, though a sync issue was not ever related to the Windows App. Please try to sign out and confirm you are signing into the same account on the App as everywhere else.

Is Android & Web syncing the same?

my android device is syncing perfectly during the day. only in the morning i sometimes get all the tasks i,ve completed the day before overdue. however, when i log off and on again in my android app everything is fine again.
