Completing/postponing a monthly task skips the next date

Hello.
I've got a task with a date set to "every 1". I didn't complete this task in time. It's Feb 4 today - when I click "complete" it moves to Apr 1, not Mar 1. The same behavior when I click "postpone".
So I got no way to move this task to "next 1". The only workaround is to manually set "Mar 1".

Is that a normal behavior?

Thank you.

Hello.
Are there any news on this issue?

Hello Alexander,

Unfortunately, we're unable to reproduce this issue. Please try to add a new task with the same due date and let us know if you can reproduce it on the new task as well.

If so - then it could be related to an old bug from last year which affected tasks added around the time when the time changed from summer time to winter time.

Best regards,
David

Steps that worked for me:
1. Create a new task with a date set to "every 1". It will be moved to 1 Mar.
2. Then right click it and change date to "Today" (which is an interface button, so "every 1" is still active).
3. Now completing and postponing will move the task to 1 Apr, not 1 Mar.

My task is really an old one, so that could be an another issue. I will create a new task and check exact the same behavior next month.

Thank you.

Alexander,

I've added a new task with the due date "every 1", right-clicked on it, clicked on the "today" icon, it moved to today, then I've checked it off and it moved to 1 Mar.

Then I've repeated the test, but this time postponed it to 1 Mar after using Today and got the same results - it correctly got postponed to 1 Mar.

Best regards,
David

I've found that this bug was related to "Next week" setting (profile settings).

I've changed it to "Sunday" and that bug disappeared. When I changed it back to Monday - I couldn't repeat that bug anymore.
So now it is okay for me :)

I'm an old user. When I signed up there was no such setting. Possibly, the value that was set to all current users was bugged.
