Added tasks showing up as late

When I add tasks for completion today that are similar to tasks I have set up to recur every week, they often show up as overdue. For example, I have "meal plan and grocery list" set up to recur every Saturday. This morning (Monday), I added a task to "update meal plan and make short grocery list." But this task shows up as two days overdue. I attempt to change the date, and it reverts to being overdue. Perhaps it has nothing to do with being similar to another task, but whatever it is, it's happening. It happens from time to time with various tasks.

Hi Michele,

Please check your Todoist.com settings (top right gear icon) and your desktop settings, and any other devices you may use, to see if the timezones are set to the same thing. That could cause this type of issue.

If that is not the case, what is the exact syntax used to create the mentioned task?

Not sure what's happening. My time zones are consistently set. It happened again with another item. I added "rearrange schedule" for today. At first, it took. But then I went to look later, and it's showing up as overdue from two days ago.

Hello Michele,

Please tell us:
- What browser are you using?
- What's the exact syntax you've used with the date for this task? ("every Saturday" or "every Sat" or "ev Sat" or "ev Saturday")?
- Can you reproduce it on a newly added task?
- Where are you adding the task, from within a certain project or through the "Quick Add" option at the top?

Best regards,
