How to separate my work projects from home projects?

Hi guys

I just signed up today to Todoist. And really like it so I started moving my tasks over.

But.... I can't seem to figure out how to separate my work projects from personal projects. I have to look at ALL projects at any time. This makes no sense, and almost all other GTD/task apps allow for filtering of "areas".

Please someone tell me that this can be done in Todoist as well. I would hate to ask for a refund on my Premium subscription, but will have to do so unless there is some workaround. :(

You can have projects and sub-projects.

An option is to have project Work and Home (or Personal) and all projects under those.

Thanks for your reply.

However, that doesn't really solve the case. Because then I will have like 20+ projects and a total of 100-150 actions in one "Work" container. That would be a true mess.

As it was my suspicion, Todoist simply does not have an "Areas" feature. Or adding a context/tag to a project. Wow.

Well, I guess I will have to find another solution. Too bad - otherwise I really enjoy Todoist.

But you can also see tasks in each sub-project. Isn't that enough?

Not sure what Areas will bring more. It just happens that the parent project will also display tasks from sub-projects, but you don't have to go the the Work project just click each sub-project.
