searching my entire ToDoist database

How do I execute a search that will search for a word anywhere in my various project lists? It appears that search only searches in the current project or sub-project. That is not very helpful at all. Sometimes it doesn't even find a word in a list when I'm looking at the word.

Hi Dave,

If you have a task with "help" in the name, and you search for help within the search bar, it will find it, does not matter where you are. Are you having troubles with that?

You can also use q: searchword to find exact matches as well.

Wow. Thanks for your quick reply!

I was searching using "control-F," which I suppose was opening the Chrome search function. I now see where your search bar is. Silly me.

I really like ToDoist, having tried just about everything :)
