Sorting in Android app

No way to sort my task list in Android? I can only do it via the web interface?

Hi Robert,

You can of course manually sort them, hold down and drag, though we will consider adding more options in the future. Right now it should sync the sort from the web version.

That's a deal breaker for me. I am constantly adding items to my Inbox throughout the day and need them to sort automatically by date/time for a quick glance using the home screen widget. I thought Todoist allowed us to "never touch the web version". I guess that's not 100% true. I'll be uninstalling the program and going back to my old ToDo list app until this becomes an option.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I found a way around it. I created a new filter with:

7 days & no date

This will show all of the tasks in the Android client by date inside of the Inbox. I just chose this filter for my home screen widget.

It is crazy that you have a load of features in the Android app, but cannot do something basic like sort a project by name, due date or priority! Filters don't work for projects on Android and I shouldn't have to mess around creating a filter to do this in the first place.

I already made a huge mistake this year by signing up for Toodledo premium which I thought I could ignore their terrible Web interface and just use their Android app. Turns out that is a pile of crap too. I'm now starting to get the same sinking feeling about Todoist - that they have no intention of implementing basic functionality...hope I'm wrong, but looking at the dates on this thread, not sure that I am.
