Change email address

I want to change the email address on my account. I had previously used the other email address to test assigning tasks. I have deleted that account but it won't let me change my email address to that email.

Hi,

This was a known issue that should be resolved now. If you sign out of all locations, clear cache for your browser/apps. then log back in again, are you able to change the email?

Hi,

I logged out on all devices, cleared browser history, closed and reopened, logged in and tried to change email address and still got the message "Email already found!". It seems like you still have a record of that email in your system so won't let me use it for my existing account.

Hi,

I have let the developers know that the issue is still here. Now to make sure, what is the other email address, so I can check to see if its still showing for us?

Hello,

Though we're working on a permanent solution for this issue, the only way to fix it for already affected account is to:
1. Create an account using the old email or log into it if it still exists.
2. Go to the settings of the old account and change its email to something else (like hfsafdhg@bhjfsdb.com).
3. Delete this account.

Now the old email will be free to re-use on your current account.

The account you're logged into now is Premium until December 2014.

Hey,

How do I achieve this without deleting my current account? I have important things on there. I just want to change my email but it seems this issue still hasn't been resolved as the same message comes up.

Hi Saba,

Is the other email address already linked to a Todoist account? Do you have any important data there?
