Project list in sidebar unresponsive to clicks

First of all, thank you for the beautiful upgrade-- elegant design and great new functionality, especially task sharing and saved filters. These were the biggest things I was missing in the previous Todoist.

However, with a major upgrade like this, some glitches are inevitable; I hope you can help with this one...

(context for following issue: I am accessing Todoist via latest Firefox on MacOS 10.8.5)

When I click on a Project in the list on the left sidebar, usually the project does not get highlighted, and the view does not switch-- it stays stuck on whatever view was there previously. I can switch projects by typing #projectName in the filter box at the top of the screen. Switching among labels, or among filters consistently works as expected, very fast. Occasionally Project switching *does* work one or a few times, but inevitably it gets into a mode where it is stuck. Seems like I can temporarily get it unstuck by switching to the Labels or Filters tab and switching the view there. Then if I go back to Projects, I can successfully switch projects a few times before it gets stuck again.

Any help appreciated!

Update: I am now seeing the same "stuck" behavior in the Labels list, contrary to what I initially reported. As with the Project list, I can sometimes get it temporarily unstuck by typing in the Filter box at the top of the page.

I have tried clearing the Firefox cache, but this seems to have no effect.

Hi Russ,

Unfortunately I can't seem to reproduce this issue. If you try this on another browser, does it still occur? Do you have any other extensions installed for Firefox?

Ha! I figured out the problem-- a case of very simple user error, stemming from (in my opinion) confusing UI design.

It turns out that when this problem occurred, I was clicking on the colored dot next to the Project name, rather than directly on the text of the project name. That doesn't work. You have to click on the text. Same for the Labels-- clicking the colored icon next to the Label does nothing.

The reasons I think the UI is confusing are: (1) When I hover over a project name, the dot next to the name gets highlighted along with the name and the three dots to the right. To me this suggests that the entire highlighted area should be clickable. (2) In most other contexts in modern OSs (both desktop and mobile), when an icon appears next to a text item (like the name of a file in Explorer or Finder), you can click either on the name or the icon. (In fact, in some cases, you *must* click on the icon because clicking on the text invokes editing of the text.).

Anyway, this is a really small problem, and now I know how to work around it. Thanks for looking into it.
