Filters not working properly in NEW Outlook plugin

After installing the latest Outlook plugin I get incorrect results when using my personal filter set up as "(overdue, today) & @work" (the filter displays correct results on the web and in iOS)
The Outlook plugin displays all my "Today" tasks (just like in the standard "Today" view).. then below that it shows a separate list of all my tasks labeled @work (regardless of due date).

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue, I've tried to us the exact same filter you've mentioned and it works as expected.

Please try to log out from the plugin and then clear Internet Explorer's cache as the plugin always uses IE to connect, and see if it helps.

Also, please try to check if the filter works in IE (as IE will show the same results as the Outlook plugin).

I confirmed the behavior is the same both in IE and the plugin. Logging out of the plugin, clearing the IE cache as well as re-booting the machine did not resolve it. Weird! I'm using IE8.

..forgot to mention - it behaves correctly in Chrome and the Chrome plugin.

This might be due to IE8 as we do not fully support this version anymore. Are you able to upgrade to a newer version?

could be tricky.. work machine. But if that's the only alternative then I'll look into what it will take to make that happen. Thanks Brendon and David!
