Nested items no longer working

After today's update, my nested tasks no longer work properly.

First issue: item A had two items under it: A-1 and A-2. The "today"
view showed item A with items A-1 and A-2 nested under it, as well as items A-1 and A-2 on individual lines outside of the nesting.

After checking off A-2, A-1 now appears under task D, as well as by itself.

Hi Austin,

Please try logging out and clearing the cache for your browser, and logging back in. Normally I wouldn't suggest this off the bat, but its a large update, and could be getting mixed up from older cached files.

Let me know if it continues after doing so.

Hello Brady,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. Please enter a project, click on "Add task" at the bottom of your task list and use Ctrl+RightArrow and let me know if the task indents to the right.

If it doesn't - let me know what browser you're using.

Best regards,

Hey David,
It seems to be working fine on my laptop... I'll test it on my desktop later today.

Seems to be working properly. Maybe I was trying to edit it in the list view instead of the "Project" view.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm having a problem a similar(?) problem. Say I have:

Main Task
Subtask A
Subtask B

I first check of each subtask as I complete them. At the end, I check off the Main Task. However, doing it this way causes the subtasks to be duplicated in my "completed tasks" list, thus making it look like a completed more tasks than I actually did that day. As one who uses the productivity charts, this is misleading. Any idea what's up? I don't remember this happening before the switch to Next.

I'm having the same issue - create a task and a nested task. The nested task shows up twice. Once under the master task and then independently as well.

What I did:
- In in box created task #1
- Hit ad task at the bottom of the list
- Hit ctrl-right arrow
- Added task #1A

In the inbox they only appear once. In the 'today' and '7 day' list they appear twice as described above - once in the nested and once independently.

I've recently logged in and out because the web and iphone lists we'rent syncing. This problem existed before and after I did that.

That's the intended behavior. In any search result view (and today is a result page for tasks due today), you will see all tasks that meed the search criteria regardless of their indent level. On top of that, if any of these tasks is a parent, you have an option to check what sub-tasks it contains.

In case where both the parent and the sub-task meet the search criteria, you'll be able to find the sub-task as a reference below the parent. This way you'll never miss any task or sub-task on this list and at the same time, have the option to check what sub-tasks belong to a certain parent.
