resetting tasks not completed for current day

I use the application on my desktop as well as ipad and iphone.

I like the app except if I don't complete tasks on a given day (I have a lot of recurring daily tasks), then I have to go into each task individually and save it again for everyday to have it cue up on todays list (this takes 15 min at least, daily). In addition, if the task time has past, even by a minute, it resets for tomorrow instead of today.

I want tasks to show up on my daily to do rather than as an overdue event.

Is there a way to reset a group of tasks?

Hold down the Ctrl or Shift key and select multiple tasks by clicking on them. A menu will appear on top of the screen. Click on "Postpone" from the menu and all your tasks will be postpone to the next day.

Hello Kathleen,

On top of what Lena suggested, please note that you actually don't have to move tasks to the next day if you've missed them. They will stay "overdue" (which is always included in the default views so you won't miss any tasks from yesterday) and when you complete it the next day and check it off, they will be moved directly to tomorrow.

Keeping missed tasks overdue could even increase productivity as we explained in this post on our blog: https://todoist.com/blog/2013/06/3-ways-to-drastically-improve-your-productivity/

Best regards,
