Tasks are changing their date for no reason.

Sometimes when i add a not particular task, its date changes for no reason, sometimes it even goes to a past date. When i try do edit that task, it keeps moving it to the wrong date. Pretty annoying.

Hello Fernando,

Please tell me - do you have the correct time zone set on all your devices as well as in Todoist's settings?

If so, could you please clarify how exactly does it change? For example - you add a task on the web set to "today at 14:00" and then you see as you save it that the date instantly changes to "tomorrow at 18:00"? Or does it happen across multiple platforms?

Best regards,

Thanks for the answer,

Well, i dont think its a multi plataform issue, i have it on my iphone but i dont use it very often.

About the time zone, in Todoist's settings it shows Brasilia as -2:00, but i dont think its correct, brasilia should be in the same time zone as Buenos Aires, -3:00, just like it is in my desktop and iphone configuration.

Should i change it to a -3 time zone, no matter what city is shown?

About what happens, its not everytime. Sometimes when i add a task, right after i save it, it gets its date changed to another random date. The task appears in the right date for like 2 seconds, but then its gone. When i search to check where it went, turns out that its on a diferent date.

I dont know if it was clear enough.

I would double check what your desktop system is set too, Todoist should be picking the correct timezone. Though, if the desktop is set to the same timezone, then it's not causing the issue.

Sometimes, can you see any differences in the task when it does happen, was there a certain label you added, or anything such as this?
