Duration of the task using iCal

RT

When I had imported my tasks using iCal import, all tasks with Due Date have a duration of 1 hour in my calendar app.

Is it possible to change the duration of the task?

Thanks,
Roman

Hi Roman,

Unfortunaely no. The iCal feed does not actually support any due dates, but it automatically puts it as 1 hour, but does not do anything.

Brendon.

Are there any plans to do something with this in the future?

Please create a new votebox, there are no concrete plans for this at this time.

I have found a workaround to this problem which basically implies using IFTTT and Google Calendar. You can read the full explanation in this post:

In any case, this is a must-have functionality so I hope it is implemented soon.

I agree this should at least be configurable as a general setting for all tasks so if you don't like the hour then at least one can make it for example 15m or whatever.

But having the option to set start and end times would be fantastic as long as it's done like the due dates not an in your face type thing only for those who want to do it.
