Entering tasks for previous days

Recently my computer system was down and I was not able to use Todosit. Now, that it is up and running I wanted to go back to the past couple of work days and add in tasks that I have completed (kept in writing until my system was working again). I am having trouble finding this feature. Can you assist me in clarifying how I go about this? thanks

You can 'create' Tasks at any time and set due dates in the past (make sure that you specify the day, month AND year when you specify a prior date, or Todoist will consider 06 Jan" to be "06 Jan 2015"!), but when you check a Task as Complete, you cannot Complete a Task 'in the past'; the Task will be Completed the day you mark it Complete.
