Emails added as tasks in Outlook not clickable

Clicking the link for an email added as a Todoist task in Outlook doesn't open the Outlook email and it also won't even open the email in the browser when I'm in Gmail for Google Biz Apps.

Is this something that can be fixed?

At the very least, if the Gmail Todoist plugin is installed, could it detect that and still open the email in the browser even if originally added in Outlook?

BTW, I'm using Outlook 2013 in Windows 8 with all the latest updates for both.

Our plugins need to open the email where it was created, gmail with gmail, outlook with outlook. We may be able to change that in the future, but it's not possible now.

As for the link issue, have you moved the email after creating the task? This is a known issue that will be fixed in an upcoming large update.

I am in exactly the same situation - I am in Outlook (365 off Win 8.1) and clicking the link in the task in the Todoist panel doesn't open or link to the email that I used to create the task. (Even if I can see the email in the mail panel next to it)

So the Outlook plugin creates an email link, but you can only open it from the outlook plugin? Clicking the link in the web interface (right next to an open outlook window) won't bring up the email?

That is correct, it needs to open from the place it was created. We do hope to find a way to change this in the future.

A major update is coming very soon.
